A true Wild Thing.

I told myself to avoid posting about issues of religion on this blog, and for the most part, I haven’t. However, I’m feeling a bit rebellious today. What me? Contrary? Never. I’m going to do my favorite thing in the world and pick out a single verse from a single book with no context and let it simmer. (Wait, I hate when people do that…thus I hate myself? Like I said, I’m a living, breathing contradiction.)

“If anyone considers himself religious and yet does not keep a tight rein on his tongue, he deceives himself and his religion is worthless.” -James 1:26

Happy Reformation day, too, to those of you who celebrate the Reformation 🙂

halloween eve

  • three pumpkins
  • two carved
  • one missing an eye
  • garlic parmesean bread
  • oven-baked pizza
  • “silence of the lambs”
  • lumberjack party/pregame supplies purchased
  • cheering for JT Lions… not looking good so far at 28-7 at the half. Hoping that they can pull of a miracle 3 touchdowns and one to win; this win would mark a 9-0 record for them.
